With The Pot you collect money up front. It goes straight to the organiser's account — Pinaday never holds it.
Your guests pay exactly the amount you ask, no surcharge on top. 2.5% + €0.35 per payment comes off the organiser's payout. On €17.50 that is 79 cents.
Whoever opens a pot does a one-time identity check at Stripe: name, date of birth, address and IBAN. That is not our choice — a payment institution in Europe may not pay out to someone it has not identified. Paying into a pot never asks for any of this.

Recurring training sessions that ask the question themselves every week, absences, attendance history and multiple organisers. We are running this with a small group of clubs to get it right.
While the pilot runs you pay nothing. If a price ever appears, you hear about it at least a month in advance and everything you already have stays.

Do my friends have to pay too?
No. Voting, joining and chipping into a pot is always free and never asks for an account. Only the organiser can buy anything, and only if they want to.
What happens to a free link after 30 days?
It disappears, names and votes included. If you want to keep something — a tab with who owes what, say — that is exactly what Plus and Pro are for.
I have no account. How does Pinaday know I have Pro?
Pro is tied to the device you bought it on. Switching phone or laptop? Restore it with the email address you paid with.
How do I cancel Pro?
At the bottom of the Pro page there is a “Cancel Pro” button. One click, and you keep your year. We do not ask why and there is no offer in between.
Does my trial week turn into a subscription automatically?
Yes, after 7 days — but not quietly. You get an email three days before it happens, with the cancel link in it.
Where does my data live?
In Frankfurt, with a European provider. Payments run through Stripe.
